The Bonn-based cruise tour operator Phoenix Reisen opted for the Open Travel Data Standard OTDS for delivering its package airtours data to sales channels: data deliveries of the hotel-only as well as for the package travel portfolio to the distribution system Traveltainment as of now are generated in the OTDS-module of Phoenix’ tour operator system WBS Blank.
Compared to the legacy format INFX used prior to OTDS, the daily production time for the approximately four million data records for package trips and for the more than five million hotel-only records has been reduced from 17 hours to as little as 30 minutes. […]
